Ippolito 1845” winery

Established in 1845, Ippolito is the oldest winery in Calabria. This historical winery is located in the centre of Cirò Marina. The vineyards, stretching for over 100 hectares and cultivated mainly with indigenous grapes such as Gaglioppo, Calabrese, Greco Nero, Greco Bianco and Pecorello, are all located in the heart of Cirò’s classic area.

Vinedressers for five generations, we proudly avail ourselves of our heritage, based on more than 170 years of work and success, and we make fine wines with a marked personality, well-defined identity and reasonable prices, with the same enthusiasm and devotion inherited from our parents.

Through the direct control of the entire production process, constant technological modernization, high respect for the environment, updated know-how and significant investment in the development of our indigenous grapes, the Ippolito family aims at offering an unsurpassed quality. The search for the “immortality” of our wines lies in that indissoluble bond among history, vine, land and human action.
